Sometimes the distance between failure and success is just a few steps.
Too often we give up just before the point of success.
We act as though we don’t know how to achieve goals.
Perhaps we give up on a diet because it’s taking too long, when just a few more weeks or days even, we would have developed a new habit that will propel us forward to our goal.
Or maybe we quit on a home business because we haven’t made the volume of sales someone else has, when just a few more emails or social media posts would result in a major sale.
Maybe we decide to let go of a relationship because in our eyes it seems hopeless when a change of attitude, a change in the way we talk to that person, would open the door to reconciliation.
Sometimes we just need to push past our normal quitting point, to demonstrate a little more faith and just hold out a little longer.
Sometimes we need to try just one more tactic, one more strategy, one more approach before throwing in the towel.
Sometimes we need to give just one more chance to that person who’s trying to reconcile with us.
Push yourself to hold out, to try something new, or to do the same thing a few more times.
Go to the gym one more day.
Write one more blog post and promote it.
Tell him you love him one more time.
Take this week’s KISS challenge and push through to the success that’s waiting for you on the other side.
What’s one area you need just a little push to get through?
Write it down. Set a new goal. Then track your progress.
Need some support? Share it with a friend. Ask them to hold you accountable, and then report your success back to them.
You’ll be amazed at what you can achieve when you push yourself just a little harder.
